Wes+Michelle .KilbuckCreekWedding.

Where do I even begin with this post? Well, it has been a crazy couple of weeks for ellAdele photography. Life has been far from boring around here which has made it difficult to get a lot of things done, but I am finally getting around to finishing up the loose ends and getting things going again. So to get things going, I am posting one of my favorite June weddings, Wes and Michelle’s! The one thing I can tell you is that this is the most caring and thoughtful couple I know. Just to give you some examples….before we went out for their first engagement session they fed me dinner, seriously one of the sweetest things ever. Then out of the blue back in May they invited me over for taco night, um come on people like who doesn’t love being thought of when it comes to tacos?! And finally the best one of all, the day of the fire. Literally, a half an hour after I had two minutes to evacuate the space I loved and poured my hard work and heart into I got a text from Wes and Michelle asking if I was ok and if I made it out safely. This right here, the simple act of just texting someone to see if they are safe shows so much about someone’s heart and character. So you can understand why this couple has a special place in my heart. I spent two engagement sessions with them and finally their wedding where it was so easy to photograph the love they have for each other. Being around them on their wedding day was so heart warming, the way they looked at each other, spoke to one another, and the way they would just grab each other’s hands were just so sweet and so beautiful. The love they have for Jesus really plays such a huge part of how much they love each other, and I am so thankful and blessed that I was able to witness that on not just one occasion of photographing them but three.

So please enjoy this lovely blog post full of photographs of two of the most amazing people I know.

Wes and Michelle, you two have no idea how thankful I am for you and your hearts. Your patience, understanding, and love were something I truly needed in the hard moments that life threw me and I will forever be changed by that. Thank you, and I cannot wait to photograph the next big life changing event!
