To spend my first destination wedding with this couple and their sweet family was so enjoyable and really such a great experience for my first destination wedding. Bailey and Jim got married in Fajardo Puerto Rico overlooking the beautiful ocean. Being around these two there was nothing but laughter, their sense of humor and seeing how they truly balance each other out was very visible in their photographs. I generally do not spend as much time with my couples when they are married back home in Northern Illinois so to be able to spend quality time with them was so wonderful, and I think important especially when we are in a place where they do not know their vendors on a personal level. I wasn’t just the photographer that day; I played wedding planner, crazy schedule lady, wedding dress sewer, organizer, and friend. Building that relationship with them was such an important part of the wedding planning so when things didn’t go the way we thought the day of, Bailey and her family knew that I was able to step in and somehow find a way to resolve it. I will forever be grateful that they chose me to photograph their beautiful wedding in Puerto Rico. I am thankful I had the experience to photograph my first destination wedding with a couple who I can call friends and for their families who I felt like I was a part of as well.
Bailey and Jim, you two compliment each other so well and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you two!
