When I first met with Kristi she and her mom came to my home office for their first meeting and after they left my husband told me we sounded like we were having too much fun. I have never laughed so much at a first meeting talking about everything from wedding talk to every day nonsense! I hadn’t met Phil yet but I could tell he was an awesome guy from how Kristi lit up just talking about him. And yesterday I got to finally meet Phil and see him and Kristi together. I had so much fun with them, they took me to all of their special spots and I got to see and hear how their love story unfolded. We started at some random park that had a crap ton of stairs then they took me to where Phil proposed to Kristi with a shutterfly book of photos of them through out the years along with letters from her family. After the proposal stop we went on to the University of Dubuque campus where they went to college together, the jeweler he custom made her ring at with his grandmother’s diamonds, and finally ended up at the river walk. After all of the picture taking they asked me to go out to dinner with them which I wasnt even expecting! This is why I love my job, I get to meet amazing people and hear their awesome story. My night in Dubuque with these two was more than I could have asked for. I am so thankful I get to go along for the ride with Kristi and Phil!
